Optional outputs for M5 Sensors

M5 non-standard Voltage outputs

The M5 can be delivered with other Voltage levels than the standard ±10V.

Voltage (0..+10V)	closest = 0 V, reference distance = +5 V, farest =+10 V
Voltage (±5V)	closest = -5 V, reference distance = 0 V, farest =+5 V

other levels upon request.

M5 non-standard Thickness output

Thickness measurement can be achieved by connecting two M5's opposite synchronizing ±10V.

Voltage (0..+10V)	thinnest = 0 V, thickest =+10 V
Voltage (±5V)	closest = -5 V, reference distance = 0 V, farest =+5 V

M5 non-standard current outputs

For long distances or noisy environment, a current (4..20mA) version is available.(*)

Current	closest = 4 mA, reference distance = +12mA, farest =+20mA
Voltage (±5V)	closest = 0mA, reference distance = +10mA, farest =+20mA

M5 non-standard Serial output

A digital (serial) output with internal high precision A/D converter is available.(*)

Serial Data	12 Bits, spread over 2 Bytes, 8 N 1

M5 non-standard Relay outputs

Instead of the standard (+24V) outputs, the three digital
"MIN", "OK" and "MAX" can be ordered with SPCO relays (*)

Switching  outputs	MIN	Relay 0.5A / 100V~, n.o. closed if below MIN (**), yellow LED on
	OK	Relay 0.5A / 100V~, n.o. closed if in-between MIN and MAX levels (**), green LED on
	MAX	Relay 0.5A / 100V~, n.o. closed if above MAX (**), red LED on
